Douglas will not be responsible for the shipping and handling of equipment (both to and from a customer) that does not fit, as a result of ordering either on-line or over the phone. Our sizing charts are only an estimate to help assist in the sizing of one's pads. It is in your best interest to have you or your player "fitted" by an expert in order to ensure the proper fit.
DOUGLAS has incorporated the same Air-Management (see note), protective properties in the "ZENA" series that has made DOUGLAS the leader in the professional and collegiate ranks. The "patented" breast plate assembly allows a fit for all players, and are adjustable up and down. The anatomically designed pads specifically contour to fit a woman's body. It is important that women athletes understand they now have a "choice" in innovative shoulder pad protection other than those available in the industry. Needed to order shoulder pads are a players height, weight, position and bra cup size.

Players under 120lbs will not be able to wear the Zena pads this year. Until then, please feel free to browse the Douglas Junior Series for the pads that you can wear this year. We look forward to the additional extra-small size next year.
Note: Air-Management. How it works.
The protective padding "cushion" of the shoulder pad is made of open celled foam. Within the foam are thousands of tiny air cells. By adhering the outer fabric to the foam, a sealed environment is created trapping the air inside of the cushion. When an outside force is exerted on to the shoulder pad shell "load spreader", the force causes the shell to push on the cushion, forcing the air to move within the cells of the foam out 360 degrees, thereby lessening the blow from being felt straight in to the point of impact. There is a much wider area of dispersion, resulting in less trauma to the body.
